Jember Fashion Carnaval was launched in 2003 and has become
a much anticipated event which features the world’s longest catwalk in the
center of the town. The glittering fashion parade features elaborate and very
theatrical costumes which are every photographer’s dream.
Carnival on the highway along the 3.6 kilometer which
followed 750 participants with the theme "Artechsion" is featuring
ten procession, namely Tibet, Betawi, Beetle, Art Deco, Bamboo, Canvas, Spider,
Tribe, Octopus and Venice.
